Corporate FACT SHEET
COMPANY
Founded in 1988, Inviro Medical Devices is a medical device company that engineers and markets safe medication delivery systems. Headquartered in Atlanta, the company is becoming a leading industry champion in the quest to increase infection control awareness; enhance needle safety; address syringe labeling requirements and protect healthcare workers, patients and the environment with innovative medical devices.
MARKET
Inviro Medical Devices is addressing the growing $1.6 billion safety syringe market with its breakthrough infection control technology. Its flagship product, the InviroSNAP!® Safety Syringe with InviroSTRIPE takes sharps safety to the next level, creating a new category of safety syringe that bridges the gap between bulky retro-fitted models and more expensive automatic retractable syringes. The InviroSTRIPE feature is an integral write-on stripe, which allows recording of critical information directly on to the syringe barrel, helping to address The Joint Commission’s syringe labeling goal. Its revolutionary design as a manually retractable syringe with an integral label, places InviroSNAP! in a next-generation product category all its own.
