InviroSNAP!^® Safety Syringe FACT SHEET

The innovative InviroSNAP!® Safety Syringe is a custom-engineered manually retractable safety syringe. INCREASED SAFETY

Designed by a practicing nurse and surgeon well in advance of legislative mandates, the InviroSNAP! Safety Syringe reduces the potential for needlesticks and exposure to bloodborne pathogens to healthcare workers. With the operator's hand and fingers safely positioned behind the needle, the clinician administers the medication dose and pulls the plunger back. This action causes the needle to retract into the syringe barrel. The pull-back mechanism also snaps off the plunger, permanently disabling the device.

EASY OPERATION

The InviroSNAP! Safety Syringe looks and functions like a traditional syringe, and is as easy to use as Push. Pull. SNAP! Large, bold gradations on the barrel are clearly visible. No sheath, shield or cap obstructs the clinician's view. Caregivers have piece of mind that it doesn't interfere with quality of care or patient comfort. The InviroSNAP! Safety Syringe is intuitive to use with minimal training and requires no change in technique.

This innovative feature enables healthcare workers to record critical information directly onto the syringe barrel.
