Inviro Medical Devices Appoints Investor Relations Director
New Position to Manage Relationships with Current and Potential Shareholders
ATLANTA – January 29, 2007 – Inviro Medical Devices has
appointed Dean Linden as the company’s Investor Relations Director. He
will manage relationships with and oversee activities for shareholders,
analysts and potential investors. Previously this year, Linden played a
key role in generating a $12 million round of funding from individual
and institutional investors for Inviro.
Linden’s efforts will help strengthen the company’s relationship with
current and potential shareholders as it continues its aggressive North
American launch of the Inviro Safety System. The company strives to
garner a significant share of the $1.6 billion rapidly growing safety
syringe market.
“Although we are not a publicly traded company, Inviro Medical has
raised significant funds in a short period of time from an active group
of loyal shareholders,” said Gareth Clarke, who grew the Biogel
surgical glove business to a global market leadership position before
joining Inviro Medical Devices as chief executive officer. “Dean’s
established track record of success with our company, as well as
relationships within the biotech industry, will help us manage
additional attention from the investment community.”
Prior to joining Inviro Medical Devices, Linden served in a similar
role for ID Biomedical Corporation, helping facilitate the acquisition
of the Canadian vaccine manufacturer by GlaxoSmithKline for $1.4
billion. The company was the largest flu vaccine maker in Canada,
responsible for 75 percent of the nation’s flu vaccine supply.
