Inviro Medical Devices' Chief Executive Officer Gareth Clarke to Retire in July

Inviro Chairman of the Board and Former CEO of ID Biomedical to Serve as Interim CEO of Infection Control Company

ATLANTA – July 1, 2008 – Inviro Medical Devices announced today that Chief Executive Officer Gareth Clarke will retire on his sixtieth birthday on July 11. Tony Holler, Inviro Chairman of the Board and former CEO of ID Biomedical, will serve as the company’s interim CEO until a permanent replacement is named.

Clarke joined Inviro Medical Devices as CEO in March 2005 and has been responsible for the commercialization of the infection control company’s product line and for achieving its current leadership position within the manually retractable safety syringe segment. The company’s unique InviroSNAP!® Safety Syringe and InviroSTRIPE® products have been recognized within the industry, securing new technology contracts from leading group purchasing organizations (GPOs) Premier and MedAssets, as well as obtaining several marketing awards.

"It has been a pleasure to be associated with Inviro," commented Clarke. "We developed this infection control business from scratch into a leader in its market segment and received significant recognition through our GPO partnerships. Our products help protect and have been enthusiastically received by healthcare workers and patients."

"We want to thank Gareth for his many contributions to the business and wish him a most enjoyable retirement," said Holler.
