ATLANTA – May 30, 2006 – As legislation rolls out
across Canada mandating that healthcare facilities provide safety
devices to protect healthcare workers from needlestick injuries, the
VON (Victorian Order of Nurses ) is partnering with Inviro Medical to
help launch the InviroSNAP!® Safety Syringe. VON will train
institutional staff and public health departments to use the
easy-to-operate device, which was designed to protect healthcare
workers from injuries and occupational exposure to bloodbourne
pathogens.
