InviroSNAP! low-dose insulin syringes are designed to help prevent needlestick injuries due to their unique safety mechanism – while their low dead space results in less medication waste.

Inviro Medical Devices' insulin syringes utilize the infection control company's patented InviroSNAP!! technology. Upon completion of the insulin injection, the user easily renders the syringe safe by pulling the plunger back until it stops, at which point the needle is safely encased in the barrel. Then, the clinician simply snaps off the plunger to permanently disable the syringe. The user can then dispose of the product without worrying about accidentally being stuck by the needle or causing injury to others. Inviro's diabetic syringes have permanently attached needles and are intended for one-time use.
